This silver necklace is an ingenious design based on three rows of interlocked circles. It might not show immediately, but if you take a closer look you will find that every link is a circle bent concave and convex. Every link hooks effortlessly into the other links. It resulted in a flexible and easy wearable necklace, that drapes smoothly on the body. A perfect piece of goldsmithing like this resembles a masterpiece but this didn’t exist anymore in the Netherlands in 1968. The work had been made however for her graduation from the Academie voor Beeldende Kunst en Kunstnijverheid (Academy of Visual and Applied Art) in Arnhem.
