Presentation Rebecca Hannon
Rebecca Hannon currently stays in Amsterdam as the foundation’s artist in residence. For two months she will work in Studio Rian de Jong in Amsterdam. Rebecca Hannon, originally from the USA, lives, teaches and creates her work in Halifax, Canada. But lately she has hardly been there. She was on sabbatical leave traveling the world, for instance to India where she stayed for three months. Her inspiration comes from fieldwork during the many travels she makes. Investigations into traditional craft techniques are combined with hypermodern production methods. She is happy to share the results and her analemma-project for Amsterdam with you:
