The boxes full of studies and models that were found after the passing of Françoise in her studio at Noordermarkt in Amsterdam, paint a picture of her zest. After the academy she preferred working with aluminium and copper tubes. That was new for a jewellery designer and she had to experiment a lot to get accustomed to the material. Sketching first on paper was pointless because tensions that can not be foreseen occur while working the material. This is why she tested her ideas first in small scale models.
