Necklace by Benedikt Fischer (Austria, 1984, lives and works in Amsterdam/NL) in collaboration with ‘outsider’ artist Rudi de Gruijl.
Benedikt and Rudi were paired up in 2021 for the Outsiderwear Festival – an initiative by artist Jan Hoek – after which they continued to work together. The objects and jewellery they create are colourful, provocative and humorous, and are telling of a new generation of makers who are pushing the boundaries of jewellery and question notions of authenticity and uniqueness.
