Lipstick

The Lipstick Ring doesn’t show any lipstick but it does consist of two voluptuous lips that metaphorically suck in a finger. This ring adorns the finger and swallows it up. Humour and sensuality play an important role in the jewellery of Sophie Hanagarth, the recipient of the Françoise van den Bosch Award 2014. Like Françoise, Sophie also loves powerful techniques, including working with metals. Sophie Hanagarth produces these stainless steel rings in series, and in different sizes. She thinks it is very important if people try on her jewellery and experience it.
